Replacing Ezra Miller With Grant Gustin In ‘The Flash’ Is Too Weird To Work

Yesterday, Rolling Stone reported that in an emergency meeting about Ezra Miller, Warner Bros. decided to hit pause on all the actor’s projects, including the upcoming high profile Flash film, due to their recent behavior.

Miller has had an increasingly bizarre series of outbursts and public alterations, culminating in their arrest in Hilo, Hawaii for disorderly conduct at a bar.

After news of this meeting about Miller got out, fans started debating the future of The Flash, the character they have played in Justice League that was set to get a key DCEU spin-off. And if Warner Bros. is not moving forward with Miller, fans have a very specific idea of who could replace them.

That would be Grant Gustin, the actor who has played the Flash on the CW across eight seasons and 150+ episodes since 2014, and he’s just signed on for a ninth season. Fans are rallying to say Gustin deserves a chance to shine on the big screen with a real, non-CW budget.

Don’t get me wrong, even though I think The Flash has run for about five years too long on the CW, I have always appreciated Grant Gustin’s portrayal of Barry Allen and I think he’s done a great job. With that said, I cannot wrap my head around how strange it would be to port the actor over to the DCEU for a Flash film.

Seeing Grant Gustin alone zapped into the DCEU to play a different version of a character he’s already played for eight years and a hundred hours is just extremely weird to process. This would not be a “CW Flash movie,” this would be the actor being slotted into the Flash film that already has a clear direction within the DCEU, and he would be leaving his CW cast and storylines behind.

And would he portray the character in the same way? Would Allen have to try to emulate Miller’s younger, more jittery Flash? Or would he be playing CW Barry Allen just without the rest of his cast there?

None of this makes any real sense from a casting perspective to me, as much as I like the actor himself (and don’t cry for Gustin who is making $200,000 per Flash episode in season 9). I think perhaps once upon a time the DCEU could have opted to embrace the Arrowverse, but that time has passed, and that’s not what this would be now. It’s much easier to imagine replacing Miller with another young actor for a fresh start.

It does seem clear that Ezra Miller needs legitimate help, which I think needs to be the main priority once his legal issues are sorted. But it also stands to reason they may not have a future within the DCEU going forward due to their behavior thus far. I just don’t think I can be convinced is that the guy who has already played The Flash for more than a decade is the only choice to replace Miller, and I just don’t imagine this manifesting, no matter how much some fans may want to see it.

Czech Republic sends T-72 tanks? and infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine

The Czech Republic has sent dozens of T-72 tanks and infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine to help defend against Russian attacks.

This was reported by the Czech newspaper Echo24 , wrote "European Truth".

The Czech Republic transferred for free the non-modernized Soviet-era T-72 tanks, which were in reserve. The Czech Army has a stock of about 90 tanks, but actively operates only about 30 modern vehicles.

The Czechoslovak infantry fighting vehicle (BMP-1) also went to Ukraine.

The chairman of the Czech parliament's lower house committee for European affairs, MP Ondrej Beneši, wrote on Twitter that Czech BMPs and T-72 tanks were being supplied to Ukraine.

“Minister of Defense Yana Chernokhova deserves great praise. This is something that is now indispensable for the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian army. I believe that we will be able to continue with these deliveries,” he wrote, taking the rail platform OSINTdefender account.

Chernokhova, in turn, wrote that she would not comment on the delivery, but assured that support for Ukraine would continue.

"It's human curiosity, I understand those who want to know what we supply to Ukraine. Sorry, I can't tell you more. There's a war going on there, and we don't want to make things easier on the Z-killer. ! Believe me, we sent the necessary military materials to our Ukrainian friends. And we will continue to do so," he wrote.Morbius Streaming itaSonic 2 Streaming itaJujutsu kaisen 0 Streaming itaMoon knight Streaming itaCorro da te Streaming ita

It should be borne in mind that the German Ministry of Defense has decided to approve the supply of BMPs to Ukraine from the reserves of the former GDR, which are currently in the Czech Republic. It will be a different delivery than the Czech Republic made on Tuesday.

Czech Republic delivers T-72 and BMP-1 tanks to Ukraine for the needs of the Armed Forces

The Czech Republic has decided to provide more substantial military assistance to Ukraine. The country sent a train to Ukraine with several dozen T-72 main battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. This equipment will help the Ukrainian Armed Forces to defend itself against Russia.

Shipping is free of charge. The Ukrainian army will receive the unmodernized T-72 tanks that have remained in the Czech Republic since becoming members of the socialist camp. There are up to 90 such vehicles in the arsenal of the Czech Armed Forces, but only 30 of them are used by the Czech army.

In addition, Ukraine will receive a Czech-licensed copy of the Soviet BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle. Such machines were produced in the Czech Republic during the Soviet licensed socialist camp.

Czech Defense Minister Jana Chernokhova confirmed that such a delivery was underway, but said there was nothing to comment on so as not to make life easier for Russia.

"It's a human curiosity, I understand those who want to know what we supply to Ukraine. Sorry, I can't tell you more. The war is raging there, and we don't want to make life easier for the Z assassins! Trust me, we send necessary military materials to Ukrainian friends. And we will continue to do so," he wrote.

We will recall, previously noted that the administration of the US president Joseph Biden discussed the possibility of assistance to Ukraine in the transfer for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the main battle tanks of Soviet production .

Armed Forces regain control of three settlements - General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces regained control of the settlements of Dobryanka, Novovoznesenske and Trudolyubivka. Fighting continues in the residential area of Alexandrovka. The Air Force destroyed 8 cruise missiles in one day.

This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff.

Russia continues to prepare for the offensive to establish complete control over the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The enemy is also trying to improve the tactical situation in the direction of the Southern Bug. It is possible to use the Transnistria region to support the attack: Tiraspol Airport is preparing to receive aircraft.

The command of the 200th separate motorized infantry brigade (Pechenga, Murmansk region) of the 14th army corps, which involved two battalion tactical groups in the war with Ukraine, trained soldiers to make up for losses. According to available information, the total loss of the live brigade is about 30%. One tactical group of the battalion was destroyed, the other - was taken to the recovery area in the Belgorod region.

There was no sign of an offensive group forming by the enemy towards Volyn. The invaders also did not take active action towards the Police.

To the north, the restoration of enemy occupation units previously deployed in the Bryansk and Kursk regions continues.

In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy continued to block the city of Kharkiv and fired artillery shells in their respective districts. According to available information, the losses of 236 artillery brigades of the 20th General Army amounted to about 20% of personnel and armament. This significantly reduces the intensity of the brigade's actions.

In the direction of Izyum, the invaders had no intention of forming an assault group and continued their assault on the settlements of Slavyansk and Barvinkove.

In the direction of Donetsk, the enemy is trying to improve the tactical position of his units. Continued offensive operations in the Popasne, Stepove, Novotoshkivske, Rubizhne, Severodonetsk and Solodke areas.

In the direction of Tavriya, in the residential area of Basan, the movement of separate units of the 58th General Army was recorded, presumably for the purpose of regrouping troops.

It should be borne in mind that the White House also believes that Russia will concentrate its offensive operations in eastern and southern Ukraine. The next stage of the war, the United States said, would be delayed for "months or longer."

The American Institute for the Study of War says that Russia's next main target will be the city of Slavyansk in the Donetsk region.

As a result of the offensive actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the occupiers lost control of three settlements

In the direction of Tavriya, in the residential area of Basan, there were recorded movements of several units of the 58th All-Military Army, presumably for the purpose of regrouping troops.

In the Southern Bug area, the enemy took action to restore combat capability and took action to position engineering equipment. Continues to terrorize civilians in temporarily occupied territories in the Kherson region.

Two former reality stars walk into a barn — and break the internet? After Kristin Cavallari and Tyler Cameron were spotted making out on a set of a photo shoot, fans couldn’t help but speculate about the nature of their relationship.

Us Weekly confirmed that the 35-year-old Uncommon James designer enlisted the 29-year-old Bachelorette alum to appear in a campaign for Cavallari’s clothing and jewelry line on Monday, April 4. The steamy snaps were taken in Joshua Tree in Palm Springs.

The Nashville resident’s publicist, Jack Ketsoyan, then weighed in, adding, “I have the best job everrrrr.”

While it appears that Cavallari and Cameron are just attempting to drum up attention to Uncommon James, the kissing pics came hours after she confirmed she is ready for a serious relationship following her split from Jay Cutler.

“I’ve honestly needed the past 2 years to work through some heavy stuff. I dated a little here and there but no one serious. I am finally in a place where I’m ready for a relationship,” Cavallari wrote on Sunday, April 2, via Instagram Stories. “When you are able to finally fully close a chapter, it’s amazing what you will start to attract.”

The Pics

Fans have been freaking out over the steamy snaps of Cavallari and Cameron.

The Purpose of the Photo Shoot

Cavallari was shooting images for her brand, Uncommon James, with Cameron. This isn’t the first time that she’s pointed attention to her jewelry line when there was speculation about her love life. Back in summer 2021, she shared promo for her business as fans flocked to her social media amid reports she was in a love triangle with Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll and Craig Conover.

Partying Behind the Scenes

Footage from behind-the-scenes of Monday’s shoot shared by Ketsoyan reveals the booze was flowing.

Russian troops in Rubizhnoye were hit by bullets in tanks with nitric acid: what to do in case of poisoning

Bright rusty smoke rose from the city. Locals are told to prepare wet face masks and wet them with baking soda, because if nitric acid gets into the eyes, it can cause corneal necrosis and cause vision loss.

During the shooting of Rubizhne, the Russian invaders hit the tank with nitric acid with a shell. This was announced on Telegram by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration (OVA) Serhiy Gaidai.

He appealed to local residents to follow the direction of the wind, close the doors and windows and not go out of the shelter.

Nitric acid is harmful by inhalation, ingestion, and in contact with skin and mucous membranes, and its vapors cause irritation of the respiratory tract. In mild poisoning there are signs of bronchitis, mild bronchiolitis, dizziness, drowsiness, and with severe poisoning, pulmonary edema, explained the head of the OVA.

In a video message, Gaidai said it was not known how much nitrogen was in the tank, but bright rusty smoke was rising above the city. After the first rains fall, the acid will disintegrate, but no one knows when it will rain, he said.

"The substance is quite toxic. Pay attention to the direction of the wind, we don't know where this poisonous cloud will go. Wear a protective mask, because now there is enough at every step," Gaidai warned.

Nitric acid breakdown - what to do

The head of the Lugansk OVA urged residents to prepare wet face masks and moisten them with soda. Gas masks are suitable for protection against nitric acid fumes. If it gets into the eye, nitric acid causes severe damage with extensive necrosis of the cornea and conjunctiva, leading to loss of vision, the official said.

If the substance gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with running water for 10-30 minutes.

"In case of contact with skin, wash the affected surface with water, add baking soda and soap to it. If nitric acid is ingested, flushing the stomach with plenty of water is indicated," OVA head cover.

Horrible in Bucha Ukraine, corpses on the street as a result of being shot by the Russians

On April 2, the regional center of Bucha, 30 kilometers from Kiev, where about 37,000 people lived before the war, was again under the control of the Ukrainian military. Soon after, gruesome shots started appearing on social networks and media. According to Mayor Anatoly Fedoruk, the destroyed streets were "strewn with corpses."

Since the city's liberation, 280 people have been buried in mass graves, he told AFP. The agency's correspondent counted "at least 20 bodies on one street in Bucha, including one with his hands tied."

“16 of the 20 bodies found on one of Bucha's streets were lying on the pavement or on the side of the road. Three bodies lay in the middle of the road, and one in the yard. An open Ukrainian passport lies on the ground next to a man whose hands are tied behind his back with a white sheet. They all wore civilian clothes: winter coats, jackets or tracksuits, jeans or sneakers, sneakers or boots. Two of them were lying by the bicycle, the other next to an abandoned car. Some lie on their stomachs, with their limbs outstretched, others on their stomachs,” that's how the journalists described the city .

A photo of the slain Bucha residents with their hands tied behind their backs was published yesterday on Twitter by an adviser to the head of the office of the Ukrainian President Mikhail Podolyak. "These people are not military people," he wrote. "They don't have weapons. They pose no threat. How many more such cases are happening now in the occupied territories?

“A large number of civilians died on the roads - young, old. You can see that people are riding bicycles, there are explosions, and they remain forever on the streets of their hometowns,” said Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Komarov, who entered Bucha with the military. According to him, entrances, playgrounds and abandoned cars can be mined in the city, now eavesdroppers are working there.

Officially, Russian authorities do not comment on allegations of killing civilians in Bucha. But on the telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, a repost appeared from the anonymous channel “War on Fakes”, the author of which claims that shootings with the dead in the streets of Bucha were “staged”.

“They shot one in the back of the head. He fell. The women scream

International human rights organization Human Rights Watch today published stories of Ukrainians confirming reprisals against civilians in various cities in the country, including Bucha.

When the Russian military occupied Bucha

The first reports of the Russian military in Bucha appeared on February 25, on the second day of the war. There was fierce fighting in the city.

“The enemy kept shooting at houses, cars, killing civilians and even children, robbing shops. It is impossible to send humanitarian aid: the people are surrounded by the enemy,” the Buchansk City Council wrote in early March.

On March 22, the head of the Kiev regional military administration, Alexander Pavlyuk, said that Bucha and Gostomel were under the control of the Russian army.

A local teacher told human rights activists that on March 4, the Russian military executed one person and threatened to execute four more. That morning, he heard gunshots and saw three Russian armored personnel carriers and four Kamaz vehicles speeding down his path. The woman, along with her two dogs, were hiding in the basement, she heard how they knocked down her front door, and then demanded in Russian: "Get out immediately, or we will throw a grenade."

The lady calls out that she is alone in the basement and leaves with arms raised. Outside, he meets three Russians - "two soldiers and a commander." They check his phone and then ask to go with them. On the way, the Ukrainian woman said, she saw how other soldiers were going around a neighbor's house.

People gathered at the site in front of the warehouse rental company office. Mostly there were women, but there were also a few men over the age of 50 - about forty in total. The Russian military is interested in participants in defense.

“At some point they brought in one young man, then four more. The soldiers ordered them to [take off] their boots and jackets. They forced them to kneel on the side of the road. Russian soldiers take off their T-shirts, from behind and over their heads. They shot one in the back of the head. He fell. The women screamed. The other four men just knelt down. The commander told the others in the square: "Don't worry. You are all normal, but this is dirt. We are here to clean you of dirt," the woman recalled.

After a few hours, people began to be bred back to their homes; whenthe narrator leaves, the four men remain on their knees. On March 9, when a Human Rights Watch interviewee was able to leave Bucha, he saw that the slain man's body was still lying at the execution site.

Another local resident, Dmitry, 40, told human rights activists that he was able to escape from the shelled Bucha on March 7 - about five kilometers to the village of Vorzel in the Irpensky district, he and other refugees walked, wrapped in white sheets and waving at them. over their heads.

In the village, Dmitry, together with local residents, hid for two nights in the basement of a two-story house. There, Dmitry saw a woman with gunshot wounds to the chest and legs - according to him, the people in the basement said that the day before, Russian soldiers threw smoke bombs inside, some people panicked and ran out into the street, where they started to shoot them. A 14-year-old boy was shot in the head and a woman was injured. Dmitry recalled that he died the next day, March 8; he helped bury her near a bomb shelter.

The UNIAN agency published a photo of the mass grave.

The Motyzhin Facebook group published an obituary for the Sukhenko family. “We worry about the village, try to keep in touch with everyone, help with food, support with words. They did the impossible - without a humanitarian corridor, they organized the evacuation of their fellow villagers and their families with children who had come to Motyzhin from Kyiv as a safer place. Alexander was a very brave man, who every time came back to help others, because everyone close to him became family,” that is how his fellow villagers remember the dead.

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk called the killing of Olga Sukhenko a war crime.

Today, the Ukrainian edition of Babylon published a photo report of the small village of Dmitrovka in the Buchansky district. Photographs showed many burned cars and bodies lying nearby, many of them on fire.

"A few days ago, the Ukrainian army liberated the village," the newspaper wrote. "Now people"a has returned to the village. They sifted through the debris, fastened the windows and removed the bodies strewn all around. Some people died with their hands tied. This indicates that the Russian army deliberately shot the civilian population. This is genocide."
