Mary J. Blige wows Super Bowl halftime show in crystal-embel

Mary J. Blige dazzled fans at the Super Bowl on Sunday evening, taking the stage in a bodysuit embellished with 10,000 Swarovski crystals.

The R&B singer performed her 2001 hits "Family Affair" and "No More Drama" wearing the white and silver outfit, as the SoFi Stadium was transformed into a California house party for a hip-hop-themed halftime show.
The look, complete with matching gloves and thigh-high boots, was custom-made by Norwegian fashion designer Peter Dundas. It featured a long-sleeve crop top with lace detailing, and was later accessorized with a silver fedora hat, which Blige wore to close the show alongside fellow performers Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar.

Dundas, who was creative director for Italian brand Roberto Cavalli before launching his own eponymous label in 2017, used laser-cut mirror embellishments, pearl beadwork and crystals to create a sparkling animal-print effect.

Speaking to Women's Wear Daily, Dundas said the outfit made Blige look like a "snow leopard."
"I thought (the mirrors) worked really well with Mary because she pulls so much on your heartstrings with singing about things that you kind of identify with yourself," he told the fashion publication. "She almost becomes a reflection of the audience as well."Xem phim Chuyen Ma Gan NhàXem phim 1000 Nụ HônXem phim 1990Xem phim CHÌA KHÓA TRĂM TỶ

Often dubbed the "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul," Blige not only won praise for her performance, but for her outfit -- and her boots, in particular -- on social media, with several fans declaring that she had "won" the Super Bowl.

"Mary J Blige's outfit and hair is absolutely everything I am obsessed," wrote one Twitter user, while another tweeted: "Mary J. Blige should have her own line of thigh boots at this point."
Shortly after the performance, Dundas' label announced that a virtual version of the outfit is being made available as a non-fungible token, or NFT, via the digital fashion platform DressX. Selling alongside a virtual replica of what she'll wear to the afterparties, as well as the designer's original sketches, the digital garments will allow fans to "participate and see themselves in the looks," Dundas said in a press release.

DressX founders Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova said in a press statement that buyers can "try on the performance looks in augmented reality anytime and anywhere in the world -- something that could almost never be achieved in the physical world."
This is not Dundas' first time dressing the star for a major appearance, having designed the shimmery gold gown she wore to last year's Met Gala. Nor is it his first Super Bowl creation: He also custom-made the crystal-adorned red outfit from Shakira's halftime performance in 2020.

Kodak Black reportedly among 4 shot outside Super Bowl party

Four people were shot and wounded early Saturday after a fight broke out outside a Los Angeles restaurant hosting a party that followed a Justin Bieber concert, police said.

The gunfire erupted outside The Nice Guy restaurant, striking and injuring four men ages 60, 22, 20 and 19, LAPD Officer Lizeth Lomeli said. Their names were not released, but NBC News reported rapper Kodak Black was among the wounded.

Officers who responded to the scene found two victims. Paramedics took them to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said in an updated statement Saturday afternoon.Scream streamingVox Machina streaming , Les Éternels streaming355 streamingSpider-Man: No Way Home streaming

Two additional victims went to hospitals on their own, according to the statement. All four victims were listed in stable condition.

Detectives asked witnesses to come forward to help them identify the gunman.

Videos posted on TMZ.com and on social media show Black posing for photos with a group of people outside the restaurant when the brawl broke out. Black is among several people involved in the brawl when shots rang out, sending everyone at the scene running for cover.

Law enforcement sources told NBC News that Black, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, was among the people shot and injured. A message to his publicist at Atlantic Records has not been returned.

The party followed Bieber's private concert at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California as part of a Super Bowl-week party dubbed “Homecoming Weekend.” The guests at the star-studded event included Jeff Bezos, his girlfriend TV host Lauren Sánchez, “Hamilton” actor Anthony Ramos and NFL Hall-of-Famer Tony Gonzalez.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin, Drake, Khloe Kardashian and Tobey Maguire were also among the celebrities seen entering the afterparty.

A strong fourth run of 1:02.21 – her best of this Olympics – briefly made Uhlaender the slider to beat, until Canada's Mirela Rahneva bumped her from the top of the leaderboard.

She started her Olympics journey in 2006 in Torino, and she has represented the United States in skeleton at every Winter Olympics since.

She's one of four Team USA members in Beijing who qualified for their fifth Olympics, an exclusive group that also includes snowboarders Shaun White and Lindsey Jacobellis and curler John Shuster.

Murderville episodes in order: from smile to laugh

Murderville , the latest improv series on Netflix in which Will Arnett always takes a celebrity under his wing, has been on the streaming service for a week now.

When writing down a possible review, it soon became clear that it is difficult to put a number on it. A review of Murderville quickly morphed into a review of the concept and to be honest I'm just a really big fan. The sincere reactions and ignorance to keep the face serene, invariably makes me smile. Which guest was the best? Time for a strong piece of pseudoscience!

“How did you rate the different guests?” you ask me with a frown. Very glad you asked me. There are several parameters that I took into account. First, did they go along with the story? Second, how well they could improvise. Last, and most importantly, how hard did I laugh? Because that's the most important thing right now. What a seasoned marketer without any irony in the voice would call a Northstar metric . If we add them all up, we get a nice picture of the first season. Let's start with.Tall Girl 2 StreamingMY HERO ACADEMIA - WORLD HEROES' MISSION StreamingÀ travers ma fenêtre StreamingInventing Anna StreamingLazarus Effect Streaming

Annie Murphy
At the bottom of the list we find the actress known for Schitt's Creek . It soon proved difficult for her to keep track of all the details. More than the other guests, she seemed to be looking for guidance from Will Arnett. Not immediately knowing what to do, what said. Don't get me wrong though: even this episode has a hilarious part on the 3rd suspect. But even there I was still hungry in the field of improvisation.

Ken Jeong
Ken quickly went along with the energy and rhythm of Will Arnett but completely lost himself in the absurdity of the whole. It is clear that he was having a lot of fun, but the many laughs meant that we as viewers never really got a feel for the situations. Having to carry the last episode of the season turned out to be a tough assignment for him. A shame, since it was the most important story for Seattle, the character of Will Arnett.

Sharon Stone
Sharon scores surprisingly well when it comes to improvisation, with an absolute highlight when she just briefly plays an entire scene with a German accent. She is difficult to lose weight, knew very quickly to pick up and respond to the actors. A pleasure to watch. The fact that she's in fourth place says more about the other celebrities than it does about her.Bigbug StreamingThe Hating Game StreamingUncharted StreamingDeath Note StreamingLes Vedettes Streaming

Conan O'Brien
Conan breathes comedy and improv talent so it was no surprise that this one would end up in the top 3. When I saw in the trailer that he was one of the guests, my expectations were high. Maybe a little too high? I sometimes felt that Conan was hitting the limits of what is possible within the concept. The man is at his best when he gets into a stream of thoughts and emphasizes the absurdity. He just couldn't do the latter without compromising the concept. The next time I put too much spicy sauce on my food, I'll consider myself lucky that I don't have to question anyone.

Marshawn Lynch
The quarterback was a noble stranger to me but really convinced me within the first fifteen minutes. Not only did he throw himself into the various scenes with great pleasure, he added an element of his own. The call for a name change to Detective Bagabitch and the conversation that followed was top notch. Wonderful surprise.

Kumail Nanjiani
Kumail stands head and shoulders above all the rest in my opinion. It's a mystery to me whether it was mainly the story or his improvisation. Whatever the case may be, it has produced hilarious moments. I still have a big smile when I think of his walks, the earnestness with which he challenged Will to impersonate a non-racist Pakistani. It was one funny moment after another. That's why I can't help but crown Nanjiani as the absolute winner of Murderville (so far).

Inventing Anna: A Guide to the Familiar Faces from Shondaland

There’s no denying that television auteur and mega producer Shonda Rhimes has her own cinematic universe. From Grey’s Anatomy to Scandal to How To Get Away with Murder, Rhimes is behind franchises that have seen hundreds if not thousands of actors pass through their gates. Her production company is called Shondaland for a reason; it’s a whole world unto itself.

As such, it’s no surprise that many familiar faces pop up in Rhimes’s latest venture, Inventing Anna, now streaming on Netflix. The series, which Vanity Fair calls a true crime-style Bold Type, follows the exploits of Anna Delvey, the Russian-born would be socialite who conned Manhattan’s wealthy elite and made them believe she was a German heiress—stealing from them all the while.

To capture the rise and fall of Delvey, played by Julia Garner, Rhymes has employed some old friends from previous Shondaland productions. Here's a handy little guide to who made the cut.

Kate Burton (Nora)
Real Shondaland fans will instantly recognize Kate Burton as Nora, an Upper East Side lady who lunches and one of the first to fall prey to the woman calling herself Miss Delvey. Burton burst into the Shonda-sphere in 2005 as Dr. Ellis Grey, the brilliant and troubled mother to Grey’s Anatomy namesake Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), and still makes the occasional guest appearance on ABC’s long-running soap. She also starred as conservative Vice President turned political talk show host Sally Langston on Rhimes’s other long-running ABC show, Scandal, wreaking havoc in Washington from 2012 to 2018. Speaking of female vice presidents: Burton also had a recurring role as Barbara Hallowes, the miserable U.S. senator from Nevada, on Veep, also featuring none other than Inventing Anna star Anna Chlumsky.

Jeff Perry (Lou)
Viewers might know Jeff Perry—who plays Vivian’s colleague Lou in Inventing Anna—as Meredith’s absentee father Thatcher Grey, popping in rather infrequently on Grey’s Anatomy from 2006 to 2019. But Perry’s most significant role in the Shonda-verse was as Cyrus Beene, the duplicitous, manipulative political animal and chief of staff to Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) on Scandal, from 2012 to 2018. If only Ellen Pompeo guest starred as a wealthy divorcee whom Delvey takes financial advantage of, Inventing Anna could have been a veritable Grey family reunion.

Katie Lowes (Rachel)
There’s a healthy dose of Scandal making their way from D.C. to NYC to get scammed by Anna Delvey. Katie Lowes, who portrayed gladiator Quinn Perkins on Scandal, stars on Inventing Anna as Rachel Deloache-Williams, the former Vanity Fair photo editor and close gal pal of Delvey’s, who accompanies the fake German heiress on a trip to Morocco with devastating consequences. Scandal was not Lowe’s first foray into Shondaland, as she played the memorable role of “Blood Donor” in an episode of Grey’s Anatomy in 2011. She must have made an impression: she started playing Quinn Perkins in 2012, and went on to star in Rhimes’s short lived web-series Scandal spinoff, Scandal: Gladiator Wanted. Shondaland, it seems, is a lot like the Olive Garden: once you’re in, you’re family.

Anna Deveare Smith (Maud)
Manhattan magazine’s “Scriberia” is chock full of former Shondaland stars, like playwright and actress Anna Deveare Smith. Smith starred on Shonda’s short-lived ABC legal drama For The People on ABC, where she played U.S. District Court Clerk Tina Krissman. While the veteran actress hasn’t appeared on any other of Rhimes’s shows, she’s an accomplished playwright whose 1992 play Twilight: Los Angeles was recently revived Off-Broadway. Like her Inventing Anna journalist Maud, Smith clearly has the gift for the pen.

Ben Rappaport (Billy McFarland)
Anna Delvey isn’t the only scammer featured on Inventing Anna. Ben Rappaport plays Fyre Festival fraudster Billy McFarland, lending Delvey a crash pad when she’s in between luxury hotels. Rappaport has previous ties to both Rhimes and Garner, starring as Seth Oliver on For The People and recurring as Josh Silverberg on Garner’s Emmy-winning Netflix series Ozark. Between Ozark and Inventing Anna, Garner and Rappaport must have a great rapport.

Marika Dominczyk (Talia)
Dominczyk is only featured in one episode of Inventing Anna, but makes quite the impression as Talia, a self-made millionairess who briefly takes Anna under her wing. Shondaland fans will fondly remember Dominczyk from her year-long stint on Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Eliza Minnick, love interest to chief of pediatrics Dr. Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw). Although Eliza and Arizona were not meant to be together, Dominczyk found real life love in Shondaland: she’s married to Scott Foley who famously played B16 operative Jake Ballard on Scandal. In Shondaland, love conquers all.

Report: U.S. Snowboard Cross Team Under Investigation After

U.S. Ski & Snowboard opened an investigation into the U.S. snowboard cross team after a former Olympian accused two members of sexual harassment and racism, USA Today reported.

Callan Chythlook-Sifsof, who competed in the 2010 Olympics, posted the allegations on her Instagram account, saying that coach Peter Foley took “naked photos of female athletes for over a decade.” She also alleged that Foley made a sexual comment to her and another teammate about another woman back in 2014.

The Olympian also accused U.S. snowboarder Hagen Kearney of using the n-word against her to "intentionally to get under my skin."Xem Phim Chìa Khoá Trăm Tỷ OnlinePhim Chuyện Ma Gần NhàXem Phim Bẫy Ngọt Ngào Full VietSub

She recounted an incident that allegedly took place during the 2014 Olympic qualifier in Canada. Per Chythlook-Sifsof, the two were riding in a van back to the hotel when she alleges Kearney said, “Kanye West gives black people a bad name.” After telling him to stop and getting out of the van, she alleges that Kearney repeatedly yelled the n-word about 20 times as they walked.

She also alleged Kearney repeatedly made rape jokes about other female members.

Kearney responded to the accusation, telling USA Today, “I made a mistake years ago with my words and appropriate action was taken. I learned from my mistake and I’m a better person now for it.”

USA Today reports U.S. Ski & Snowboard spokesman Tom Horrocks commented on both allegations, saying the institution is “aware of the recent allegations” against Foley.

“We take these very serious and these are being investigated,” Harrocks told USA Today in an email.

As for Kearney, Harrocks explained, “the concerns regarding Hagen were dealt with at the time and appropriate action was taken.”

Kearney participated in the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing, finishing 17th in the men’s snowboard cross event.

Chythlook-Sifsof mentioned she had to get these allegations out there.

"I cannot watch another Olympic Games without saying this publicly," Chythlook-Sifsof said on her Instagram.

Mikaela Shiffrin gets confidence back in super-G

There was no medal in Friday’s super-G, the third event raced at these Winter Games for the Edwards local, but there was a finish.

Most importantly, the Alpine superstar appeared to renew her confidence and rhythm on the slopes, perhaps a more meaningful victory in the long run.

After disqualifications in her first two Olympic events, Shiffrin found her groove in the super-G Friday in Beijing, skiing more with the trademark athletic, aggressive fluidity which has built an increasingly untouchable World Cup resume over the better part of the last decade.

The 26-year-old ripped down the top of the 1984-meter “Rock” ski course, fearlessly attacking the steep ridge line portion and joyfully flowing through the flat bottom section, where the race was surprisingly being determined.

She had an early lead after the first two checkpoints, but she opted for a wide route going into the Haituo Bowl, entering the Canyon with 0.38 seconds to make up. Her time of 1:14.30 was 0.79 off the lead, good for ninth.

Although known for her slalom prowess, Shiffrin has had success in the super-G in the past, winning gold in the 2019 World Championships. At the 2021 championships, she earned bronze in the event. She entered the competition never having won a speed event Olympic medal, but it was clear that Friday was more about getting her confidence back. Though visibly hungry for more, Shiffrin smiled and congratulated Lara Gut-Behrami in the leader’s chair at the bottom.

Notably absent from start list was Italy’s Sofia Goggia. The downhill specialist is still trying to recover from a knee injury suffered in Cortina in January. She decided to drop out of the super-G after two training runs on Thursday morning. The defending downhill gold medalist told Gazzetta dello Sport, “I can’t guarantee anything, not even my participation in the downhill. I cried all morning, the pressure is huge.”Xem phim Chuyện ma gần nhàXem phim Bẫy Ngọt NgàoXem phim Chìa Khoá Trăm Tỷ

The second skier on course, Ester Ledecka looked sharp in attempting to defend her Olympic title. Even though she has competed in only three of the super-G events this season, with a best finish of eighth, she posted a 1:13.94 to establish the early standard. Her hopes of repeating evaporated quickly, however, with Austrian Mirjam Puchner bettering the mark on the very next run. As more athletes took to the course, it was apparent that Puchner had discovered the secret to riding the canyon. A pattern of riders leading at the top of the course and then standing bewildered at the finish — having lost time to Puchner’s splits in the gliding canyon — quickly emerged.

Lara Gut-Behrami, the defending world champion and World Cup globe winner in the discipline, also gained time at the top of the hill. She cracked the canyon code, however, at least enough to steal the lead from Puchner. In the end, it was good enough for gold. Puchner settled for silver, and Gut-Behrami’s Swiss teammate Michelle Gisin took the bronze.

The Italians entered the Games having dominated the World Cup super-G circuit, winning six of the seven races. Most eyes were on Federica Brignone, winner of three of those and the current discipline’s points leader. After the second split, the Italian trailed by 0.49 seconds. Despite fighting for seconds, the four-time Olympian couldn’t do enough at the bottom of the course, falling off the podium to finish seventh.

After her disqualifications in the giant slalom and slalom, Shiffrin issued a statement through a U.S. Olympic spokesperson: “Mikaela (nor her mother/coach Eileen) will not be doing any media for the foreseeable future. Thank you for respecting her/their space right now.”
