Zhvania came under fire near the checkpoint of the Russian invaders in the village of Novopokrovka, Zaporozhye region, Gerashchenko specified.

Some Telegram channels write that an artillery shell hit a Volkswagen car, Zhvania and another passenger, a man born in 1972, were in its cabin. As a result of the explosion, Zhvania died, but the second passenger survived.

Zhvania’s body, according to sources, is located in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
